We would like to take this opportunity to thank you for organizing the Shoe Box Appeal and for donating these gifts to our children.
Our world is currently facing an unprecedented challenge, but we have never stopped and we are working with commitment and creativity to continue supporting our children and their families.
Unfortunately, due to the pandemic, our most important sources of funding have ceased, in particular, those related to fundraising events and catering.
Therefore, we are reaching out to ask for help during these difficult times. We would like to continue to support these children, and provide them with an opportunity to attend the “Una Casa per Crescere” which is a day care center that welcomes them on a daily basis. Here is how you can contribute and support these children:
If you wish to sustain a child or more for a month:
- 1 bambino: 500 Euro
- 2 bambini: 1.000 Euro
- 4 bambini: 2.000 Euro
- 10 bambini: 5.000 Euro
- 20 bambini: 10.000 Euro

Cometa Team: Erasmo, Innocente, Mariagrazia e Alessandro
Cometa is an educational place where you grow, study, work and learn through experience. After the pandemic, we reopened the doors to more than 100 children and boys where the summer center finally awaits them. In compliance with the rules of containment of the Coronavirus, with shifts and contingent entrances, our children and young people will meet again. After months waiting for this moment our children will resume their daily life which is made up of games, sports activities, workshops and songs. These children and young people come from fragile and difficult families who, during the lockdown period, their situation became even more critical. With the reopening of the summer center, they can therefore find a place where they can receive the attention they need and a good meal that they do not always manage to have at home.
